TRAINING CONTINUITY

Your programme should not break
because Tuesday got busy.

SEQD treats your workout split as a training sequence. Complete the sessions, keep the order visible and continue from where you actually are — not where the calendar says you should be.

Flexible session order · Continuous training history · No automatic Monday reset.

FLEXIBLE, NOT RANDOM

A workout split that survives real life.

Most programmes are written on a calendar. Training rarely happens that cleanly. SEQD separates the order of your programme from the name of the weekday so missed sessions do not automatically become skipped sessions.

Continue where you left off

If life moves a session, the next workout can still be the next workout. The sequence does not need to restart.

Complete every session once

A sequence is complete when its sessions have been completed, not simply because Sunday arrived.

Keep flexible session order

When your programme allows it, you can choose a different session order while SEQD keeps track of what is done and what remains.

Keep previous performance attached

When a session returns, the exercises still carry their previous performance so continuity includes the numbers, not just the session name.

Use rest days without losing place

Take the recovery day you need and resume the sequence afterwards without rebuilding the week from scratch.

See the wider training block

The current workout sits inside a longer progression path so individual sessions make sense in context.

CALENDAR WEEK VS TRAINING SEQUENCE

The calendar tells you what day it is. Your programme should tell you what comes next.

Fixed weekday plans are easy to write but can become messy after one missed session. SEQD keeps the training logic separate from the calendar so continuity survives schedule changes.

TRAINING SEQUENCE FAQ

Why sequence the programme?

Is this the same as a workout split?

Your split describes how training is divided. The sequence describes how those sessions continue from one workout to the next.

Can I still train on regular weekdays?

Yes. You can keep a normal routine. The advantage is that the programme still makes sense when a week does not go to plan.

Does sequence mean random order?

No. SEQD is designed to preserve programme structure while allowing sensible flexibility in when sessions happen.

Why does this matter for progression?

Consistent session continuity makes it easier to compare like with like and keep progressive overload tied to repeatable training.

PROGRESS HAS A SEQUENCE.

Miss a day. Not the programme.

Keep the sessions moving in the order your training needs.
