MUSCLES WORKED
Upper chest, triceps and front delts.
Muscle contribution changes with setup, range, load and individual technique.
COMMON MISTAKES
Keep the rep consistent.
- Using an incline so steep it becomes mostly a shoulder press
- Placing the bench too far forward or backward for the fixed bar path
- Bouncing the bar at the bottom
- Letting the shoulders roll forward
PROGRESSION
Make the next session comparable.
Keep your setup and range similar, log your working sets, reps and load, then use the previous session as your reference.
