How to Eat 150g Protein a Day.
The easiest method is to split the target across several meals and snacks. Four feedings around 35–40g gets you close without needing one enormous protein hit.
Example structure.
Use this as a template rather than a prescription.
- Breakfast: yogurt + whey + fruit
- Lunch: chicken rice bowl
- Snack: skyr/cottage cheese plus another protein food if needed
- Dinner: lean meat, fish or tofu-based meal
Make it easier.
Choose two or three repeatable protein staples that are always available at home or work.
- Keep a quick dairy or shake option for busy periods.
- Batch-cook lunch protein.
- Do not leave most of the target until the final meal.
Is 150g right for you?.
Protein needs depend on body size, training, goals, total energy intake and health. A higher number is not automatically better.
- Use a target appropriate to you rather than copying someone else.
- If you have kidney disease or another condition affected by diet, get individual professional advice.
- SEQD can help you track what you actually eat consistently.
